I've
essentially been involved with woodworking and carpentry since
the mid eighties. As a young man I began working in the wood
shop of a large factory in New Hampshire. Surrounded by incredibly
large machines shaping and manipulating rough stock into brush
handles and other related items, I paid close attention to
all of the fine craftsmen at work.
I moved to Boston were I attended and eventually received
a Bachelor's degree in design from the Massachusetts College
of Art. I put myself through college working as an apprentice
for a well known carpenter in Boston named Greg Treleaven,
who mainly works in high end homes in the South End of Boston.
I moved to Los Angeles and stayed for nine years, working
as a master carpenter in the film industry eventually rising
to the position of Art Director on major films, TVcommercials
and music videos. While in CA, I also ran my own residential
custom woodworking business. This is where I polished my woodworking
skills and gained confidence learning to run a business and
please clients, often affluent industry professionals who
appreciated attention to detail.
A few years ago I returned to live in Boston, where I have
been very busy providing custom woodworking and carpentry
for some of bean town's fine homes and establishments. I recently
finished a year long contract performing historical restorations
at "TheatreZone", which is a theater in Chelsea
MA that is located in a grand old historical building where
Abraham Lincoln once spoke. I've also completed small and
large projects for many clients located in Brookline, Lynnefield,
the South End of Boston, Beacon Hill, Winchester and other
areas. These projects included many custom hard wood screen/
storm doors, entry doors, mantles, tables, full bar rooms,
closets, lots of cabinetry and major renovations, to mention
a few.
I am very honest and hard working, dedicated to perfection
and the mastery of my craft. My goal, always, is to provide
superior service and create unique and well made objects that
can be enjoyed by generations to come. A customer's happiness
with the job is my #1 concern, all my clients are very happy
they hired me, and I don't hesitate to offer references that
will verify this. I can always be reached at 1-617-429-6178,
